DID YOU KNOW? |

Shut
down your computer
Leaving your computer on when you call it a day
may save you, what, 40 seconds of restart time
the next morning? C'mon, you can't be THAT busy!
But the costs are enormous. A single computer,
left on nights and weekends, can cost $95 a year
in wasted energy. Power down when you leave for
the day or for an extended lunch break. For just
a regular break away from your desk, turn off
your monitor or set your computer into Sleep
mode for Mac or Suspend mode for PC. If you'll
be away from your computer for more than just a
few minutes, shut 'er down!
Business Week just ran a feature on a 'regular'
green home. Check it our by clicking
here. It is important to know that cost and
energy savings need not take on strange and
unfamiliar forms & designs.
